
Hong Kong-based content distributor Medialink Entertainment has announced on Tuesday they acquired the upcoming anime Dead Mount Death Play.
The upcoming dark fantasy anime is scheduled to premiere on 11 April, which will stream on their Ani-One Asia YouTube channel every Tuesdays at 12:30am PHT, within an hour after its initial Japanese telecast. The anime will also be made available to its streaming platform partners in the region.
There will be a weekly watchalong of the anime with Malaysian cosplayer and streamer Micho Teh on the Ani-One Asia YouTube channel at 12:00am PHT.

Dead Mount Death Play is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese action and dark fantasy manga series, written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto, which is being published in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine since October 2017.
The manga series currently has 10 tankubon volumes published.
Manabu Ono, who directed anime titles such as Sword Art Online: Alicization, The Asterisk War and the first season of The irregular at magic high school, will be directing the upcoming anime series, as well as handling its series composition.
Hisashi Abe, who worked on popular anime shows including Chobits, Gunslinger Girl and Devil May Cry, will handle the character designs, which will be animated by Geek Toys.
The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Yuki Sakakihara (Robota, Lycoris Recoil anime) as Polka Shinoyama, Inori Minase (Viola, The Duke of Death and His Maid anime) as Misaki Sakimiya, and Yuma Uchida (Kyo Soma, Fruits Basket 2019 anime adaptation) as Takumi Kuruya.
Dead Mount Death Play will be an addition to previously announced anime titles acquired by Medialink Entertainment for the Spring 2023 season.
This includes the upcoming fantasy comedy anime Mashle: Magic and Muscles, the Second Seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury and In Another World with My Smartphone, the Third Season of Dr. STONE, the upcoming drama anime Oshi no Ko, the upcoming romantic comedy anime A Galaxy Next Door, the Second Season of Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, the upcoming mecha anime Alice Gear Aegis Expansion, the upcoming suspense anime My Home Hero, and the upcoming anime Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!.
