
The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (TOYCON PH) has announced on Sunday two tokusatsu legends as their first set of international guests this July.
In partnership with the Tokusatsu-centric initiative TokuSpirits, they will feature Tetsuo Kurata and Ryosuke Kaizu (whose real name is Kazunori Inaba) on the popular pop-culture event’s 20th anniversary.
Kurata is best known for portraying lead character Kotaro Minami in the super sentai series Kamen Rider Black, while Kaizu is well-known for playing Takeru (Red Mask) in the super sentai series Hikari Sentai Maskman.
The organizers have not given details on Kurata and Kaizu’s upcoming stage appearances at TOYCON PH, but they have started selling VIP and Regular Meet-and-Greet tickets.
The VIP Tickets will include perks such as two-hour buffet dinner with the actors, a photo opportunity with both actors, a signature of both actors on item of choice, and a day admission for the event.
The VIP tickets are currently selling on an early bird price of ₱25,000, until May 31, 2023. Starting June 1, the VIP tickets will be priced at ₱30,000.

The regular meet-and-greet tickets, which will be happening during the TOYCON PH event, are now also on-sale.

Tetsuo Kurata has been involved with the TokuSpirits initiative since 2021, where he take part as special guest on their online meet-and-greet and Q&A sessions.
Ryosuke Kaizu is the husband of TokuSpirits founder Georgette Inaba, who have organized several in-person and online events, meet-and-greets and charity works. Their first major event, Henshincon, was first held in 2015 where he and Five Man’s Kei Shindachiya were its special guests.

The much-awaited event is scheduled on 7-9 July 2023 at the SMX Convention Center -Manila, located at the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.
