AcadArena, the organizers of the esports and pop-culture event CONQuest, has announced on Saturday the Final Wave of its Guests for 2023.
The organizers reveal the popular streamer and content creator Pokimane will be one of the special guests for CONQuest 2023 this June.
Pokimane (whose real name is Imane Anys) is a Moroccan-Canadian Twitch streamer well-known for her video game streams, particularly in Fortnite and League of Legends.
She is one of the most-followed female streamers on the platform, as well as one of the co-founders of the content creator group OfflineTV.
CONQuest 2023 also revealed that the Australian-born YouTuber, voice actor and podcaster Joey Bizinger, better known online as “The Anime Man”, will be part of the event, together with Filipino-American anime and otaku culture content creator Akidearest.
Bizinger is known for his content on YouTube regarding Japanese anime, manga and otaku culture, as well as one-third of the popular podcast Trash Taste.
He also has cameo voice roles in the video game Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 4 in 2018, as well as a narration role in an episode of the parody comedy anime Pop Team Epic’s first season. In 2020, he also landed a role in the video game No Straight Roads.
CONQuest 2023 will also feature the virtual streamer Shoto (Shxtou), who is one of the top male independent virtual streamers on Twitch.
Singapore-based Twitch streamer and Tiktok star Spicyuuu, and Ian Tsuchiura of the electronic dance music project Hyper Potions are also part of the event’s activities.
The professional sports team ECHO, champions of the 2022 M4 World Championships, will also grace the event.
In addition, the event will also feature Twitch streamers JoshSeki and Yvonnie from OfflineTV, Demenshiki and KrisRey, cosplayer and model Byoru, and music producer James Landino.
The event will also bring Adam McArthur, who voiced lead character “Yuji Itadori” in the English dubbing of the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Filipino-American voice actors Anne Yatco and Ratana, the voices of Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko in the popular video game Genshin Impact, will also make their return.
CONQuest 2023 previously announced in February they will feature popular YouTubers and content creators Valkyrae and Fuslie, as well as Filipino actor and musician James Reid and South Korean indie-rock band The Rose, among others.
The organizers then revealed the following month that popular YouTuber Sykkuno, content creator Newt, and Twitch streamers AriaSaki and iGumDrop will be also part of the event.
This year’s event is also set to host several voice actors, esports athlets and other content creators.
CONQuest 2023 is scheduled to happen on June 2-4, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center – Manila, as well as nearby Conrad Manila, at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

CONQuest set its roots in Iloilo City as it started as a high-school project in 2017, where it was held at a local events place for two years and attended by around 2,000 people.
After the formation of AcadArena in 2019, which is now composed of several student leaders across the country, the event has expanded to the Iloilo Convention Center and attended by over 8,000 attendees.
AcadArena hold the very first CONQuest event in Manila in July last year, which featured the organization’s Alliance Games Finals, where different schools battle out on different esports competitions, as well as technology showcase and community panels.
The event had also featured several personalities, including content creators Hydae, LilyPichu and Michael Reeves, voice actors Anne Yatco, Ratana and Christian Banas, and Vtubers Bao and Senz, among others.
It also featured several local talents and personalities, as well other activities like classic console play areas and cosplay competitions.
