Blue Orchestra (青のオーケストラ) is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series by Makoto Akui, which is being published in Kodansha’s digital platforms Ura Sunday and MangaONE since April 2017 and currently has 10 volumes.

The manga’s story is about Hajime Aono, who was a violin prodigy but decided to stop playing the instrument due to family circumstances. He then met a girl who told him about a high school with a prestigious orchestra club, and restores his passion for music.

Last January, the manga has won the Best Shonen Manga in the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award, tie with Kotoyama’s Call of the Night.
