Vacation on a deserted island?!

The members of the Hestia Familia—Bell, Hestia, Welf, Lili, Mikoto—together with Ryu who helped out at the War Games, are going on a trip to the deserted island, Eugene Island.

This trip was arranged by Hestia Familia’s ally, Miach, in exchange for taking up a job request. Of course, Hestia gladly took up the request.

The party enjoy to their fullest on the deserted island, but we already know that the vacation will not end without an incident…

The OVA special is a spinoff of the second season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, which is based on the popular fantasy light novel series, written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, which is being published by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint since January 2013 and currently has 15 volumes.

The second season is directed by Hideki Tachibana, who previously worked in Armed Girl’s Machiavellism anime series, who replaced the first season’s director Yoshiki Yamakawa.

Other staffs from the first season, including scriptwriter Hideki Shirane, music composer Keiji Inai and character designer Shigeki Kimoto, returned to work on the second season, which was produced by J.C. Staff.

The staff and cast of the series reprised their respective roles, including Inori Minase (as Hestia) and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (as Bell Cranell).

ANIPLUS Asia had aired the first season of DanMachi on a simulcast basis in Spring of 2015. The series also made its free-to-air premiere on terrestrial broadcaster TV5 in May 2017, which was dubbed in Filipino.

The anime channel also aired the second season on a simulcast basis from July to October last year.

The anime series is set to have a third season, scheduled to premiere in Summer of 2020.
