As previously reported in October, Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has revealed that the third season of the popular anime series Attack on Titan will air its second part next month.
The anime channel has announced on Friday the second part will premiere this April 29, airing every Monday nights at 06:00pm (05:00pm JKT/BKK), within the same day as the Japanese telecast.
The popular dark fantasy series has also revealed a new key visual, which the anime channel has described:
Many characters are featured in the key visual, cueing the upcoming battles that the Scout Regiment is going to go through. Follow as the series continues from the previous part, as they start the mission to reclaim Wall Maria.
Attack on Titan is an anime adaptation of the popular manga series by Hajime Isayama, which is being serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since September 2009 and currently has 27 volumes.
The popular manga can also be read in English language through Crunchyroll’s digital manga service.
The staff from the second season, including chief director Tetsuro Araki, director Masashi Koizuka, scriptwriter Yasuko Kobayashi, character designer Kyoji Asano and musical composer Hiroyuki Sawano, returns for the third season.
The lead voice casts, including Yuuki Kaji (as Eren Jaeger), Yui Ishikawa (as Mikasa Ackerman), Hiroshi Kamiya (as Levi) and Shiori Mikami (as Historia Reiss), also returned to portray their roles for this season.
Attack on Titan was one of ANIPLUS Asia’s first offerings when the channel was launched in November 2013, while the 12-episode second season was aired on a simulcast basis in April 2017.
The first part of the third season was aired on a simulcast basis in July, which ended in October last year.
ANIPLUS Asia is available in the Philippines on SKYcable Channel 139 in Metro Manila, CAMANAVA, Rizal, Bulacan and Laguna, G Sat Channel 66 in High Definition, and in select provincial cable providers around the country.
