ANIPLUS Asia to simulcast B-PROJECT S2 this Winter 2019

New anime series of male idol franchise features new staff, to be produced by Bandai Namco Pictures.

Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced on Wednesday that they will simulcast the second season of the male idol series B-PROJECT this Winter 2019.

B-PROJECT -Zeccho*Emotion- will premiere on January 12, airing every Saturday nights at 12:30am (11:30pm JKT/BKK), within two hours after the initial Japanese telecast.

The series will have an encore presentation every Saturday nights at 08:30pm (07:30pm JKT/BKK).

B-PROJECT -Zeccho*Emotion- is the second television anime series of the multimedia project by Mages (formerly known as 5pb. Inc.) in 2015, which has since expanded to manga, rhythm game, music and stage play.

 

The upcoming anime series will be handled by a brand new staff including Makoto Moriwaki, will be taking over the directorial position from Eiji Suganuma, as well as the scriptwriting role from Deko Akao. Moriwaki previously worked in the comedy anime series Tantei Opera Milky Holmes.

Ryosuke Nakanishi, who previously worked in the High School DxD anime series, will now handle the music, replacing Masato Nakayama.

Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! chief animation director Yumiko Hara will now handle character designs, replacing Toshie Kawamura, which will now be produced by Bandai Namco Pictures.

 

Most of the first season’s voice actors will return to the new season, except for Hisako Kanemoto, who is currently taking a hiatus from her voice acting activities to study overseas.

Asami Seto, who voiced “Chihaya Ayase” in the drama anime series Chihayafuru, will now take over the role of Tsubasa Sumisora.

 

B-PROJECT -Zeccho*Emotion- will be the second simulcast title of ANIPLUS Asia for the Winter 2019 anime season.

The anime channel previously announced the simulcast airing of The Promised Neverland, which will start on Friday, January 11.

 

ANIPLUS Asia is available in the Philippines on SKYcable Channel 139 (Metro Manila, CAMANAVA, Rizal, Bulacan and Laguna), GSat Channel 66 in High-definition (Nationwide), and in selected provincial cable providers around the country.
