ANIPLUS Asia announces Restaurant to Another World simulcast schedule

Japanese anime adaptation of a fantasy novel series set to premiere on July 4, after the Japanese telecast.

Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced on Sunday the schedule of the upcoming anime Restaurant to Another World.

The anime will premiere on July 4, airing Every Tuesdays at 02:05am (01:05am JKT/BKK), right after the Japanese telecast.

Encore telecast on Tuesday nights at 11:00pm (10:00pm JKT/BKK), Wednesday nights at 06:00pm (05:00pm JKT/BKK), and Friday nights at 10:00pm (09:00pm JKT/BKK).



There is a secret in a seemingly ordinary restaurant called “Nekoya”. Every Saturday when the shop takes a day off, it is teeming full of “special customers”. For the office workers, it is a familiar place with familiar dishes, but for these Saturday customers – “people from another world” – it is nothing but cuisine never seen or heard before. (Synopsis from ANIPLUS Asia)

Restaurant from Another World is an upcoming anime series based on the Japanese fantasy novel series by Junpei Inuzuka with illustrations by Katsumi Enami, which is being serialized by Shufunotomo since February 2015. The light novel currently has two (2) volumes.

The anime adaptation will be written and directed by Masato Jinbo, who previously directed the anime series Chaos;Child, while the team of Keiichi and Takao Sano will adapt Enami’s original character designs.

The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Junichi Suwabe (“Daiki Aomine”, Kuroko’s Basketball series) as the restaurant’s shopkeeper and Sumire Uesaka (“Fubuki”, Kantai Collection franchise) as the waitress “Aletta”.


As previously reported, this is the second simulcast title of ANIPLUS Asia, with Katsugeki TOUKEN RANBU set to premiere on Sunday, July 2.

More simulcast titles are expected to be announced in the coming days.
