During the “One Punch Man Fall Festival” event in Saitama, Japan on Sunday, the staff & cast of the highly-popular anime series One Punch Man that the anime will be getting a second season.
The event also announced that the popular series will also be getting a smartphone game app, which is expected to be released next year.

Since young, Saitama has always wanted to become a hero. He undergoes three years of intensive training and eventually becomes so powerful that he can easily defeat any enemy, regardless of their strength, with a single punch! Gradually, he starts to get bored of this situation until new opponents appear before him. Will he finally be able to maximize his full potential in the battle?
One Punch Man is an anime adaptation of a popular web comic by the author “One” published in 2009, which is a parody of the popular kids character Anpanman. Japanese publisher Shueisha has been publishing a remake since 2012 on its Young Jump Web Comic magazine, which currently has 11 volumes.
The anime adaptation was directed by Shingo Natsume, who also directed on the anime series Space Dandy, with scripts handled by Tomohiro Suzuki, who also worked on titles like Tiger and Bunny and Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary movie.
One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island movie’s animation director Chikashi Kubota handled character designs, which was produced by anime studio Madhouse.
ANIMAX Asia is currently airing the popular anime series since September 12, which is airing two episodes back-to-back every Monday nights at 10:00pm SIN/MNL (09:00pm JKT/BKK).
