Ozine Fest is the flagship event of Otakuzine Anime Magazine, which is being held since 2005. This will be the second time the popular event will be held at the SMX Convention Center – Manila.
In 2014, Ozine Fest was held at the SMX Convention Center’s Function Room 5, which was packed to the rafters by the attendees and forced the SMX management to implement strict crowd control on the whole building. Otakuzine Anime Magazine editor Dennis Uy tells Anime Pilipinas at that time that they would “charge it to experience”.
Last year, the organizers went back at the SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls in Mandaluyong City, albeit with limited exhibitors, which allowed people to roam around freely in the event area.
