Collectibles Unlimited, the organizers of the pop-culture event 14th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (TOYCON PH), has announced on their Facebook page Saturday that the ticket price for the event will now be at PHP150 (about USD3.40), which was up by PHP20 from last year.
The organizers are once again tapping the services of SM Tickets as the ticket-selling partner for the fourth year.
Tickets are now on-sale at all SM Ticket outlets nationwide and through online at smtickets.com.
The event is set to be happen on June 19-21 at the Megatrade Halls at SM Megamall in Manaluyong City, while a “Grand Launch” will be held on Saturday, May 30, at the Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
The TOYCON PH launch will also serve as One of World Cosplay Summit Philippines’ NCR Qualifiers, alongside the HERO Face Off 2015 event to be held on June 6 at SM Mall of Asia.
Details regarding the program, including the possible security arrangements in light of the recent “no ticket, no entry” rules, will be discussed at the press conference.
SM Tickets, which is the ticket-selling vendor of the SM Group, has been the official ticket selling partner of TOYCON PH since 2012.
Victorino Yap, who is one of the co-organizers of the event, said at that time that the reason why they chose SM Tickets is for convenience, as it will avoid the long lines that they experienced before. The partnership became successful as SM Tickets has been the official ticket selling partner of the event ever since.
