Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced on Monday they will simulcast Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout anime series.
The upcoming anime will premiere with a one-hour first episode on Sunday, 02 July, at 01:30am PHT. Succeeding episodes will air every Sundays at 01:30am PHT, within two hours after its initial Japanese telecast.
The anime channel has also uploaded an English-translated version of the upcoming show’s teaser, which you can see above.
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is an upcoming anime adaptation of a popular Japanese role-playing video game, developed by Gust and published Koei Tecmo, which was first released in September 2019 on Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4 consoles.
The series is the 21st main entry of the popular Atelier role-playing game franchise, which has been running since 1997 and released on multiple consoles and platforms.
The series has since released sequels, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy in December 2020 and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key in March this year.
The upcoming anime adaptation will be directed by Ema Yuzuriha, while Shakugan no Shana series creator Yashichiro Takahashi will handle the series composition. Kazuki Yanagawa, who composed music on the popular RPG franchise, will return to work on the anime series.
Tomoyuki Shitaya, who previously worked on popular anime titles like Bakuman. and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, will handle character designs, which will be animated by LIDEN FILMS.
Yuri Noguchi, who voiced the titular character Reisalin “Ryza” Stout in the video game series, will return to work on the upcoming television anime series. She previously voiced “Cinnamon” in Nekopara’s television anime adaptation and “Mejiro Palmer” in the second season of Uma Musume Pretty Derby.
She will be also be joined by Takuma Terashima (as Lent Marslink), Yui Kondou (as Tao Mongarten) and Hitomi Ohwada (as Klaudia Valentz), among others.
ANIPLUS Asia is available nationwide through Cignal TV Channel 75 and SatLite Channel 85.
