Singapore-based anime licensor ODEX has revealed on Friday additional details regarding Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly anime film screenings in the Philippines.

The licensor has confirmed that the Fan’s Screening of the anime film will be held on Saturday, March 23, at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), which is the Philippine government body responsible for classification of movies and television shows, is rating the film R-13, which is the first time an anime film from the licensor have been released as such, having their previous releases rated PG.

 

Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly Fan’s Screening in Manila will cost PHP1,200 per ticket, which will include the following:

  • 1pc Week 1 Japan Import A5 Illustration Board (Saber)
  • 1pc Week 2 A4 Clearfile 1
  • 1pc Week 3 A4 Clearfile 2
  • 1pc Week 6 Special Commentary Book
  • 1pc Japan Import Big Message Card
  • 1pc A2 Poster

For the A4 Clearfile, each ticketholders will get one (1) randomly-selected clearfile folder from three different designs.

 

Philippine theater chain SM Cinema also uploaded on their website the poster of the anime film that has the date “April 3”, which may indicate that the film will have its general screening on that date.

As of press time, ticket reservations are still not available.

Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel is a three-part anime film series based on the third & final route of the popular visual novel Fate/stay night, developed by Type-Moon for Microsoft Windows devices in 2004.

The first film, presage flower, opened Number 1 in the Japanese box office in both attendance and earnings in October 2017, which earned a total of JP¥1.5 billion (about PHP713 million). ODEX screened the film in the Philippines in February last year.

The second film, lost butterfly, had recently opened in Japanese cinemas in January. The film earned JP¥602,841,741 (about PHP287 million) in its opening weekend last January 12, and earning the top spot in the Japanese box office.

ODEX previously announced in September last year that the film will be screened in select cinemas in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines.

 

Tomonori Sudou, who worked on the Coyote Ragtime Show anime series, will direct the anime films, while Akira Hiyama will handle the scripts, which will be produced by Ufotable.

Yuki Kajiura, who previously worked on the music of several Fate television anime series, will compose the music and Japanese singer Aimer performed the theme song for the First and Second anime films.

The Japanese voice cast were lead by Noriko Shitaya (“Chelsea” Coyote Ragtime Show) as “Sakura Mato” and Noriaki Sugiyama (“Sasuke Uchiha”, Naruto) as “Shiro Emiya”.
