Filipino language anime channel HEROtv has announced in a television advertisement that the action anime The Asterisk War and sports anime Keijo!!!!!!!! are set to premiere this month.
The anime channel had posted teasers about the two anime titles on social media last March.

Invertia was a meteor storm that caused an unprecedented disaster during the 20th century. Because of this disaster, numerous cities around the world were destroyed. However, within the meteor, an unknown element called mana was discovered. It allowed human technology to make rapid strides giving rise to a new species of super-powered humans, the Star Pulse Generation (Genestella). The Festas (Star Warrior Festivals) host battles between Genestella at a city of six academies called “Rikka,” also commonly known as “Asterisk.” Scholarship student Ayato Amagiri transferred into Seidokan Academy in order to fulfill his own wish, swearing he too will fight in this city. The Asterisk Wars is an anime adaptation of a Japanese light novel series, written by Yuu Miyazaki with illustrations by Okiura, which is being serialized by Media Factory under the MF Bunko J imprint since September 2012. The novel currently has 10 volumes.
The anime adaptation was directed by Kenji Sato, who worked in several Yu-Gi-Oh! anime adaptations, with supervision by Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere director Manabu Ono. Tetsuya Kawakami, who worked on the animation of Interviews with Monster Girls, handled character designs, which was produced by A-1 Pictures.
The Asterisk War premieres on Friday, August 18, at 06:30pm.

“Keijo” is a popular gambling sport where contestants stand on platforms floating on the water and must use their butts and chests to fight against each other to push each other off the platform. Nozomi Kaminashi, a high school student, aims to join the sport after she graduates. Nozomi was raised in a poor family and hopes to make lots of money by playing Keijo. She grew up training in gymnastics, and she has good balance and flexibility. After high school, Nozomi joins a training boarding school and enters the world of Keijo. Keijo!!!!!!!! is an anime adaptation of a Japanese sports manga series, written and illustrated by Daichi Sorayomi, which was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from July 2013 to April 2017. The manga has a total of 18 volumes.
The anime adaptation was directed by Hideya Takahashi, who worked on Fafner anime adaptations, while To Love-Ru director Takao Kato handled the series composition. Keiya Nakano, who worked on AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue anime series, handled character designs, which was produced by Xebec.
Keijo!!!!!!!! premieres on Wednesday, August 23, at 11:00pm.
