Pop-culture events organizer Cosplay.ph has announced on Thursday that the Japanese alternative rock band BACK-ON will be performing on the very first I Love Anisong concert in Manila.
As previously reported, the anisong concert will be happening during Cosplay Mania ’16 on October 1-2 at the SMX Convention Center – Manila in Pasay City.
More announcement regarding the upcoming concert is set to happen in the coming days.
BACK-ON is a Japanese alternative rock band that is well-known is releasing theme songs for anime & game titles. The current members of the band are Kenji03 (lead vocals, MC and rhythm guitars), Teeda (rap vocals and MC), Gori (bass) and Shu (lead guitars).
The band was formed in 2002, then released their first album “Adachi Tribe” in 2004. Their first single “Chain” was released in 2006, which became the opening theme for the popular anime Air Gear.
They since have released five albums and 15 singles, with some used in shows like Eyeshield 21, Gundam Build Fighters and Fairy Tail, as well as video games like Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology series and Gundam Breaker series.
