Pan-regional anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced on Thursday that the channel is set to premiere three titles, fresh from Japan, during the First quarter of 2016.

The titles are Durarara!! x2 3rd Arc, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn and Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions.

Assassination Classroom, which premiered on Monday, and The File of Young Kindaichi R are also included in the channel highlights for the quarter.

Ikebukuro is engulfed in a spiral of confusion. The light novel has a total of 13 volumes.

The anime adaptation is directed by Takahiro Omori and written by Noboru Takagi, who worked on the previous adaptations. Takahiro Kishida adapted character designs made by Suzuhito Yasuda, which is produced by anime studio Shuka.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Toshiyuki Toyonaga as “Mikado Ryugamine” and Miyuki Sawashiro as the headless rider “Celty Sturluson”.

DURARARA!! ×2 3rd Arc premieres on January 10, airing every Sunday nights at 10:00pm SG/MNL (09:00pm JKT). Within 24 hours after the Japanese telecast.

Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn is an anime adaptation of a sci-fi manga, written & illustrated by Koshi Rikudo, which is serialized by Kadokawa Shoten since October 2012. The manga currently has seven (7) volumes.

The anime adaptation is directed by Munenori Nawa, who also directed the romantic comedy anime Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, while The iDOLM@ASTER scriptwriter Tatsuya Takahashi is handling series composition. Takuya Tani, who worked on several adaptations of Strike Witches, is also handling character designs, which is being produced by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Sanae Fuku as “Nene Nanakorobi”, Manami Numakura as “Clarion”, and Atsuko Tanaka as “Delilah Uzal”.

Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn premieres on January 26, airing every Saturday nights at 11:30pm SG/MNL (10:30pm JKT). A few weeks after its Japanese telecast.

GRIMGAR, Ashes and Illusion, also known by the title Grimgar le Monde des cendres et de fantaisie, is an anime adaptation of a light novel series, written by Ao Jumonji & illustrated by Eiri Shirai, which is serialized under Overlap Bunko since June 2013. The novel currently has seven (7) volumes.

The anime adaptation is written & directed by Ryosuke Nakamura and character designs are made by Mieko Hosoi, who both worked on the horror anime Aoi Bungaku Series, which is produced by A-1 Pictures.

The Japanese voice cast is lead by Yoshimasa Hosoya (“Junpei Hyuga”, Kuroko’s Basketball) as “Haruhiro”.

GRIMGAR, Ashes and Illusion premieres on February 02, airing every Tuesday nights at 08:00pm SG/MNL (07:00pm JKT). A few weeks after its Japanese telecast.

The File of Young Kindaichi R is the fifth anime adaptation of the long-running mystery manga series by Yozaburo Kanari and Seimaru Amagi, with illustrations by Fumiya Sato, which has been running on Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 1992. The manga currently has 72 volumes.

Yutaka Tsuchida, who directed the anime movie Eiga Precure All Stars: Minna de Utau Kiseki no Maho!, directed the anime adaptation and written by the team composed of Atsuhiro Tomioka, Miyuki Kishimoto, Takuya Matsumoto and Yoshifumi Fukushima. Character designs are made by Akihiro Asanuma, which was produced by Toei Animation.

Taiki Matsuno returned to voice the lead character “Hajime Kindaichi”.

The File of Young Kindaichi R is set to premiere on March 21, airing every Monday and Tuesday nights at 08:00pm SG/MNL (07:00pm JKT).
