Hong Kong-based content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited has announced on Wednesday that they will simulcast I’m Standing on a Million Lives anime on their Ani-One platform.

The company has yet to announce the anime’s streaming schedule on their YouTube channel, but the anime is set to premiere on Japanese television in October 2.

I’m Standing on a Million Lives is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese fantasy manga series, written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao, which is being published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since June 2016 and currently has 10 volumes.

 

I’m Standing on a Million Lives will be directed by Kumiko Habara, who previously worked as episode director for Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II, while Boarding School Juliet scriptwriter Takao Yoshioka will handle the series composition.

The team of Eri Kojima and Toshihide Masudate will handle the anime’s character designs, which will be produced by Maho Film.

 

Yuto Uemura, who portrayed the lead role of “Atsushi Nakajima” in the popular anime series Bungo Stray Dogs, will play the lead character “Yusuke Yotsuya”.

He will also be joined by Risa Kubota (“Rosetta”, Lapis Re:LiGHTs) as “Iu Shindo”, Azumi Waki (“Special Week”, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby) as “Kusue Hakozaki” and Makoto Koichi (“Rook Holmes”, Infinite Dendrogram) as “Yuka Tokitate”.

 

MediaLink Entertainment previously announced that they have acquired Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, which is the spinoff of the highly-popular InuYasha franchise, and it is set to simulcast on their Ani-One platform in the Autumn 2020 season.

More titles are set to be announced in the coming days.
