Singapore-based anime licensor MUSE Asia has announced on Thursday their simulcast anime line-up for the Winter 2020 season.

The company has announced that they will be streaming Asteroid in Love, A3!, the second season of Isekai Quartet, and BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense.

The simulcast streaming of Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle and Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun will continue next season.

Asteroid in Love is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese four-panel manga series by Quro, which has been running in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine since January 2017 and currently has two volumes.

 

WATATEN! director Daisuke Hiramaki and scriptwriter Yuka Yamada reunites to work on the upcoming series, with Jun Yamazaki, who previously worked in the comedy anime Uzamaid!, handled character designs, which will be produced by Doga Kobo.

Tomoyo Takayanagi, who voiced “Mikan Hinatsuki” in the comedy anime The Demon Girl Next Door, will voice the show’s lead character “Mira Konohata”, and she will also be joined by Megumi Yamaguchi as “Ao Manaka”, Maria Sashide as “Mai Inose”, Nao Toyama as “Mikage Sakurai”, and Sumire Uesaka as “Mari Morino”.

Asteroid in Love will be available on MUSE Asia’s YouTube channel starting January 3, which can be streamed every Friday nights at 11:00pm PHT. The first episode will available online at 11:30pm PHT.

A3! is an upcoming anime series based on the A3! (Act! Addict! Actors!) actor-training smartphone game, developed and published by Liber Entertainment, which debut in January 2017.

The upcoming anime will start with “Season Spring & Summer” next month, which will be followed by “Season Autumn & Winter” in July to September 2020.

 

The anime adaptation will reunite Black Fox anime movie director Keisuke Shinohara and scriptwriter Naoki Hayashi, while Mariko Komatsu will adapt Ryo Fujiwara’s original character designs, which will be produced by P.A. Works and Studio 3Hz.

The voice cast for the smartphone game will reprise their role in the upcoming anime, including Kaori Nazuka (“Tsukasa Ayatsuji”, Amagami SS) as “Tachibana Izumi”.

A3! Season Spring & Summer will be available on MUSE Asia’s YouTube channel starting January 14, which can be streamed every Tuesday at 12:30am PHT.

Isekai Quartet 2 is the upcoming second season of a crossover anime series, featuring characters from KADOKAWA’s isekai-themed light novel series.

In the first season, the anime featured characters from Overlord, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World and The Saga of Tanya the Devil.

In the upcoming season, they will now be joined by characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero.

 

Minoru Asahina, who written and directed the previous season, will return to work on the upcoming season together with character designer Minoru Takehara, which will be produced by Studio Puyukai.

The Japanese voice cast of each of their respective anime shows will reprise their roles on the upcoming season.

 

Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia aired the first season of Isekai Quartet on a simulcast basis in April this year, but the channel has not yet made an announcement if they also plan to carry the upcoming season.

Isekai Quartet 2 will be available on MUSE Asia’s YouTube channel starting January 15, which can be streamed every Wednesday at 12:45am PHT.

Kaede Honjo is invited by her friend Risa Shiramine to play a virtual reality MMO game with her. While Kaede doesn’t dislike games, what she really, truly dislikes is being in pain. She creates a character named Maple, and decides to put all her points in VIT to minimize pain. As a result, she moves slowly, can’t use magic, and even a rabbit can get the best of her. But as it turns out, she acquires a skill known as “Absolute Defense” as a result of her pumping points into VIT, as well as a “Counter Skill” that works against special moves. BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese light novel series, written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin.

The novel initially started as a self-published work in 2016, which was then acquired by Kadokawa’s Fujimi Shobo publication and published as a light novel in September 2017. The light novel series currently has four volumes.

 

The upcoming anime series will be directed by the team of Mirai Minato and Shin Oonuma, who both worked in Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya and Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou, while Fairy Tail scriptwriter Fumihiko Shimo will handle the series composition.

Kazuya Hirata, who also worked in Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou, will adapt Koin’s original character designs, which will be produced by SILVER LINK.

The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Kaede Hondo (“Sakura Minamoto”, Zombieland Saga) as “Maple” and Ruriko Noguchi (“Eileen”, Show By Rock!! S2) as “Sally”.

BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense will be available on MUSE Asia’s YouTube channel starting January 8, which can be streamed every Wednesday at 10:30pm PHT.

 

Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle and Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun, which started streaming in Autumn 2019, will continue in the Winter 2020 season.

New episodes of Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle is streamed every Monday at 11:00pm PHT, while Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun is streamed every Saturday at 07:05pm PHT.
