Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced on Tuesday that they will air the Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom anime special on New Year’s Day.

The anime special is scheduled to air on Wednesday, January 1, at 12:00am PHT, with an encore telecast on Saturday, January 4, at 08:00pm PHT.

Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom is the second anime special based on the popular mobile role-playing game Fate/Grand Order, which is a part of the TYPE-MOON’s Fate/stay Night franchise. The mobile game is developed by Delightworks and launched in July 2015.

The anime special is a follow-up to Fate/Grand Order: First Order, which was also aired on ANIPLUS Asia in January 2017.

The show is one of the two anime specials aired on Japanese television during New Year’s Eve in 2017.

 

The anime channel described the anime special:

The Lost Room. A place where you can find what was lost—or those who lost. This room, which belongs to no one, lies forgotten in a corner of Chaldea…

 

Takuro Tsukada, who directed Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart. anime series, directed Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom, while the previous anime special’s director Hitoshi Nanba served as the chief director. Kinoko Nasu, who conceptualized the Fate franchise, wrote the scripts.

Tomokatsu Nagasu, who worked on several anime titles like Eureka Seven AO and Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart., is the chief animation director of the anime special, which was produced by Lay-duce.

Nobunaga Shimazaki and Rie Takahashi returned to play their respective roles in the franchise as Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight, respectively.
