MUSE Communications Singapore has revealed this month that they had launched a legal streaming platform of Japanese anime titles on the video-sharing website YouTube.
The company is currently streaming several shows from Summer 2019 season, such as The Ones Within, Cop Craft, O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Wasteful Days of High School Girls, Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?, A Certain Scientific Accelerator and If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord.
The platform is streaming each episode within the same week as its Japanese telecast for free, which will be available separately in English and Chinese subtitles.
The platform is also adding several shows from the recently-concluded Spring 2019 season, such as Ao-chan Can’t Study!, Senryu Girl, Strike Witches: 501st JOINT FIGHTER WING Take Off! and Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu.
The company has not made it clear at the moment if they are also planning to stream older titles from their content library, including those previously available on other platforms.
The Ones Within
ナカノヒトゲノム【実況中】
The Ones Within is an anime adaptation of a Japanese mystery manga series by Osora, serialized online through pixiv Comic since 2014, which is also being published on paperback by Kadokawa’s Media Factory brand and currently has nine (9) volumes.
Shin Oonuma, who previously worked on Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts anime adaptations, directs the series, while Armed Girl’s Machiavellism scriptwriter Kento Shimoyama handled the series composition.
Mizuki Takahashi, who previously worked on Masamune-kun’s Revenge anime series, handles character designs, which is being produced by Silver Link.
Daiki Yamashita, who voiced “Izuku Midoriya” in the highly-popular anime series My Hero Academia, portrays the lead character “Akatsuki Iride”.
Cop Craft
コップクラフト
Cop Craft is an anime adaptation of a Japanese action light novel series, written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Range Murata, which is being published by Shogakukan under their Gagaga Bunko imprint since November 2009 and currently has nine (9) volumes.
The anime series is directed by Shin Atagaki, who also worked in the anime adaptation of Devil May Cry, while Full Metal Panic! light novel creator Shoji Gatoh handled the series composition, and Hiromi Kimura handled the show’s character designs. Millepensee produced the series.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Kenjiro Tsuda (“Shin Fukuhara”, Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts) as “Kei Matoba” and Mayu Yoshioka (“Ren Ekoda”, Anne-Happy) as “Tirana Exedirika”.
O Maidens in Your Savage Season
荒ぶる季節の乙女どもよ。
O Maidens in Your Savage Season is an anime adaptation of a Japanese romance manga series, written by Mari Okada and illustrated by Nao Emoto, which is being published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since December 2016 and currently has seven (7) volumes.
Masahiro Ando and Takuro Tsukada, who both worked in Blast of Tempest and Snow White with the Red Hair, are co-directors for the series, while Okada will handle the series composition.
Kaori Ishii, who worked as animation director in Rewrite, adapts Emoto’s original character designs, which is being produced by Lay-duce.
The Japanese voice cast for the series include Hiyori Kono (as “Kazusa Onodera”), Chika Anzai (as “Niina Sugawara”), Momo Asakura (as “Momoko Sudo”), Tomoyo Kurosawa (as “Hitoha Hongo”), and Sumire Uesaka (as “Rika Sonezaki”).
Wasteful Days of High School Girls

Wasteful Days of High School Girls is an anime adaptation of a Japanese comedy manga series by bino, which is being published on multiple online publications since 2014, and then serialized on paperback by Kadokawa Shoten with four volumes published.
Takeo Takahashi, who directed Spice and Wolf anime adaptations, serves as the show’s chief director, with Hijiri Sanpei serving as the director. Masahiro Yokotani, scriptwriter for the Free! anime franchise, handles the series composition, while Prison School animation director Sachiko Yasuda handles character designs, which will be produced by Passione.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Chinatsu Akasaki (as “Nozomu Tanaka”), Haruka Tomatsu (as “Akane Kikuchi”) and Aki Toyosaki (as “Shiori Saginomiya”).

Hensuki is an anime adaptation of a Japanese romantic comedy light novel series, written by Tomo Hanama and illustrated by sune, which is being published by Kadokawa’s Media Factory since January 2017 under their MF Bunko J and currently has seven (7) volumes.
The anime adaptation is directed by Itsuki Imazaki, who previously worked in Ai-Mai-Mi! anime series, while D.Gray-man Hallow scriptwriter Kenichi Yamashita handles the series composition.
Yosuke Ito, who previously worked in Holmes of Kyoto anime series, handles the show’s character designs, which is being produced by Geek Toys.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Hiro Shimono (“Keima Katsuragi”, The World God Only Knows) as “Keiki Kiryu”, Rina Hidaka (“Enju Aihara”, Black Bullet) as “Yuika Koga” and Ayana Taketatsu (“Azusa Nakano”, K-ON! series) as “Sayuki Tokihara”.
A Certain Scientific Accelerator

A Certain Scientific Accelerator is an anime adaptation of a Japanese sci-fi manga series, ritten by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Arata Yamaji, which also serves as one of the spinoffs of the A Certain Magical Index light novel series.
The manga is being published by Kadokawa’s ASCII Media Works on their Dengeki Daioh magazine since December 2013, which currently has nine (9) volumes.
Nobuharu Kamanaka, who previously worked on Big Order anime adaptation, directs the anime series, while Hajime no Ippo scriptwriter Kenji Sugihara handles the series composition. Yohei Yaegashi, who worked as animation director in several episodes of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, handles the show’s character designs, which is being produced by J.C. Staff.
Nobuhiko Okamoto (as Accelerator”) and Rina Hidaka (as “Last Order”) returned to portray their respective roles in the popular franchise.
If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord

If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord is an anime adaptation of a Japanese light novel series written by Chirolu, which initially started as a self-published novel in August 2014, but was eventually serialized in February 2015 by Hobby Japan, wich currently has eight (8) volumes.
The anime adaptation is directed by Takeyuki Yanase, who previously worked in Himegoto, while Magical Girl Raising Project scriptwriter Takao Yoshioka handles the series composition. The team of Kaho Deguchi, Miyako Nishida and Toshihide Masudate handled the character designs, which is produced by Maho Film.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Nobuhiko Okamoto (“Katsuki Bakugo”, My Hero Academia) as “Dale” and Kanon Takao (“Tasuku Kodaira”, Usakame) as “Latina”.
MUSE Communications Singapore, also known by the name of MUSE Asia, is the Singapore branch of the Taiwan-based anime licensor MUSE Communications.
The company handles licensing and distribution of Japanese animated content in Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Bangladesh and Southeast Asia, as well as some operations in Mainland China.
The YouTube streaming channel is available for users in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Bandladesh. They have also launched their respective channels for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Aside from content distribution, the company has also participated in pop-culture events like Taipei International Comics & Animation Festival and Anime Festival Asia.
