Japanese voice actress and media personality Suzuko Mimori has announced on her blog on Friday that she had married the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
“I have yet to fully develop as a person, but I will still strive to be a loving, supportive foundation of our family, just like my mother did,” Mimori said. “As a performer, I will work hard for my future and reach a new level of success.”
The professional wrestler, who is known as “Rainmaker”, also confirmed the news on his Twitter account.

“As a Rainmaker, you can expect our home to be showered with love and joy,” Okada said.
He also adds that both of them will continue to “let the money rain” in the future, especially in his professional wrestling career.
Suzuko Mimori is a Japanese actress, singer and voice actress, currently affiliated with the recording label Pony Canyon.
Mimori initially started in stage musicals where she was discovered by Takaaki Kitadani, president of entertainment company Bushiroad, and was offered to be a voice actress. She was known as the voice of “Umi Sonoda” in the popular franchise Love Live! School idol project, as well as lead roles in Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Kamisama Kiss and Yuki Yuna is a Hero.
Aside from her voice acting roles, Mimori is also has a solo singing career, releasing eight (8) singles and five (5) studio albums, with “Holiday Mode” released last February.
Kazuchika Okada is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
Okada started his wrestling career in 2004, trained by Mexican Lucha libre Último Dragón, and had wrestled in NJPW, as well as several overseas promotions including Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling (now known as Impact Wrestling) in the United States.
He has won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for five times and reigned for over 1,520 combined days, which is the longest in the history of the promotion, as well as several accomplishments like two-time Pro-Wrestling Illustrated’s Match of the Year, four-time Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Match of the Year and six-time Nikkan Sports’ Best Bout Award.
His recent match against Kenny Omega at NJPW’s Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall event has earned the highest rating in Wrestling Observer Newsletter publisher Dave Meltzer’s star rating system, which is ★★★★★★★ (seven stars).
Last January, Minori and Okada had acknowledged their relationship in public after a Japanese news website reported that they had spent in each other’s homes, which had garnered angry messages, mostly from otakus, and messages of support.
The couple was previously seen on the same event, which was during the C3 Charaexpo 2016 event in Singapore.
Bushiroad is known for producing trading card & collectible card games like Weiß Schwarz and Cardfight!! Vanguard, as well as video games like BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! and Love Live! School Idol Festival.
The entertainment company had acquired NJPW from its previous owner in 2012.
