Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced on Wednesday that the anime series Kado: The Right Answer will premiere on the channel next month.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on May 8, airing double-episodes Every Monday and Tuesday nights at 08:00pm (07:00pm JKT/BKK).
Kojiro Shindo is a highly-skilled negotiator working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As his plane at Haneda airport prepares to take off, a huge mysterious cube appears from the sky. ‘It’ expands rapidly, and absorbs the passenger plane and its 252 passengers. The cube’s name is “Kado”. A strange being called Yaha-kui zaShunina appears from within Kado and tries to make contact with humanity.
Shindo, who was been absorbed by Kado, ends up taking on the role of mediator between Yaha-kui zaShunina and humanity. The Japanese government sends its own negotiator, Saraka Tsukai. (Synopsis from Anime News Network)
Kado: The Right Answer is an original animation series produced by Toei Animation, which was first aired in Japanese television in Spring 2017.
The anime was directed by Kazuya Murata, who previously directed the anime Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, together with Battle Spirits: Heroes director Masaki Watanabe.
Scripts were handled by Mado Nozaki, and character designs were created by Aco Arisaka.
