
Animation Council of the Philippines (ACPI), the organizers of the event Animahenasyon, has announced in a press conference on Wednesday that they will be bringing Square Enix’s Chief Environment Technical Artist Adelle Bueno on the event this November.

She is set to hold a talk on creating environments and designing for video games. The schedule for her talk will be announced at a later date.
She has previously worked on game titles like Unchartered 3: Drake’s Deception (Naughty Dog), The Last of Us (Naughty Dog) and Bloodborne (FromSoftware). She has worked as the Senior Technical Artist for the upcoming role-playing video game Final Fantasy XV, which is scheduled for worldwide release this November 29.
ACPI will hold the 10th Philippine Animation Festival, better known as Animahenasyon 2016, from November 22-26, 2016.
The conference and festival proper will happen from November 22-24 at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier in Taguig City, then a One-day workshop with international artists will happen on November 25 at A SPACE in Makati City, and concluding with film screenings on November 26 at the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde auditorium in Manila.
For its 10th anniversary, the organizers are partnering with the Spanish Embassy and is set to bring special guests from Spain, as well as screening animated features from the country.
When asked regarding the animated feature screenings, particularly Japanese anime, a representative of ACPI has told Anime Pilipinas that the line-up will be announced at a later date.
The organizer explains that the titles that will be screened during the Animahenasyon festival are still being finalized by their respective government entities.
