Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced their first two (2) simulcast titles this Fall anime season, starting this October, which will be Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru and the fourth season of Uta no Prince-sama series.
A representative of the network has told Anime Pilipinas that more simulcast announcements will be made in the coming days.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru

The year is 2205. With the plan of altering history, the “Historical Revisionists” have begun attacks on the past. The Saniwa (Sage), who are tasked with protecting history, have the ability to breathe life into inanimate objects, including famous historical swords. Strongest among these are the Touken Danshi (Sword Warriors). Touken Ranbu Hanamaru revolves around their daily cheerful lives.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru is the first of the two anime adaptation of the popular online video game, which is developed by Nitroplus and DMM Games.
The first adaptation is produced by Doga Kobo, who also worked on titles like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun and Himouto! Umaru-chan, which will be directed by Takashi Naoya (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!) with Pierre Sugiura (Barakamon) in series composition. Junichiro Taniguchi, who worked on titles like Gekken Shoujo Nozaki-kun and Prison School will handle character designs.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Mitsuhiro Ichiki (“Takeyama”, Angel Beats!) as “Yasusada Yamatonokami” and Toshiki Masuda (“Eijiro Kirishima”, My Hero Academia) as “Kiyomitsu Kashu”.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru premieres on Sunday, October 2, at 12:00am SIN (11:00pm JKT/BKK). Right after Japan.
Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE Legend Star

The story continues where the third season left off, at the competition for who will open the Triple S international sporting event. Raging Entertainment’s HEAVENS idol group had hijacked the competition between QUARTET NIGHT and STARISH, causing chaos. However, after the QUARTET NIGHT members suggest a certain idea, the three groups aim toward a new stage, with HEAVENS swearing to get their revenge on the other two groups.
Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE Legend Star is the fourth anime adaptation of the popular Uta no Prince-sama franchise, which is a Japanese visual novel series published by game studio Broccoli.
The fourth anime series is directed by Takeshi Furuta, who also worked on the ecchi anime Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to, with scripts handled by Sayaka Konno and Tomoko Konparu. Music is handled by Elements Garden.
The Japanese voice casts are once again lead by Hiro Shimono as “Sho Kurusu”, Junichi Suwabe as “Ren Jinguji”, Kenichi Suzumura as “Masato Hijirikawa”, Kisho Taniyama as “Natsuki Shinomiya”, Kousuke Toriumi as “Cecil Aijima”, Mamoru Miyano as “Tokiya Ichinose”, Miyuki Sawashiro as “Haruka Nanami” and Takuma Terashima as “Otoya Ittoki”.
