A representative of the theater chain SM Cinema has told Anime Pilipinas that the planned live screening of Love Live! School idol project’s sixth and final concert, μ’s Final LoveLive! 2016 ~μ’sic Forever~, is not yet final.
The representative explains that there several details that are still being finalized, including the ticket prices, the location, the screening dates, and if there will be “premium items” that will be given away.
It is also the same reason why the theater chain has not posted any details on their social media accounts.
The statement is in contrast to the announcement made by the event’s official website, which include the Philippines as one of the countries set to screen the much-awaited concert the same time as it performs in Japan.
The Philippines has been listed on the website to live screen the concert on Thursday, March 31, at 3:00pm at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
μ’s Final LoveLive! 2016 ~μ’sic Forever~ will be the sixth and final solo concert of the cast of Love Live! School idol project, which is set to happen on March 31 and April 1 at the Tokyodome in Japan.
It has been reported that the voice actresses’ contracts are set to expire at the end of March, but Emi Nitta (“Honoka Kousaka”) stated that the concert will only be the final concert of the group μ’s as a whole and as a solo act, and does not consider it as a “break-up”.
The concert is also set to be screened live in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and more recently, Malaysia.
