Pan-regional anime channel ANIPLUS HD is opening the Summer anime season with three (3) simulcast titles for the month of July.

The simulcast titles airing this month are Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, School-Live! and the second season of The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

 

Rokka: Brave of the Six Flowers

Legend says, when the Evil God awakens from the deepest of darkness, the god of fate will summon Six Braves and grant them with the power to save the world.

Adlet, who claims to be the strongest on the face of this earth, is chosen as one of the “Brave Six Flowers,” and sets out on a battle to prevent the resurrection of the Evil God. However, there turned out to be Seven Braves who gathered at the promised land…

The Seven Braves notice there must be one enemy among themselves, and feelings of suspicion toward each other spreads throughout the group. And it is Adlet who gets suspected first and foremost.

The beginning of an overwhelming fantasy adventure that brings upon mystery after mystery.

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers is an anime adaptation of a Japanese light novel series, written by Ishio Yamagata with illustrations by Miyagi, which is being published by Shueisha under Super Dash Bunko imprint. The novel has been running since August 2011 and is currently on-going.

The anime adaptation is directed by Takeo Takahashi, who also directed the popular Spice and Wolf anime series, while scripts are written by Tatsuhiko Urahata, who also wrote the scripts for Strike Witches anime adaptations, and character designs are made by Sayaka Koiso. It is being produced by anime studio Passione.

The voice cast are lead by Soma Saito (Tatsumi, Akame ga KILL!) as Adlet Mayer, Yoko Hikasa (Izumi Takanashi, Working!) as Nashetania Loei Piena Augustra, Aoi Yuki (Madoka Kaname, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) as Fremy Speeddraw, Koki Uchiyama (Raku Ichijou, Nisekoi) as Goldof Auora, Ai Kakuma (Nina Klein, Aldnoah.Zero) as Chamo Rosso, Rina Sato (Chihiro Senkawa, The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) as Mora Chester, and Kenichi Suzumura (Masato Hijirikawa, Uta no Prince-sama) as Hans Humpty.

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers premieres on July 6, airing within 24-hours of Japan’s telecast every Monday nights at 11:00pm SGT (10:00pm JKT/BKK).

“Happiness is anything but ordinary…” 

Yuki Takeya is a cheerful school girl who is a member of her school’s “Campus Life Club”, alongside her friends Kurumi Ebisugawa and Yuri Wakasa. Yuki seeks out fun school activities every day whilst Kurumi and Yuri protect her, because in reality, they are the sole survivors of their school after a zombie outbreak overruns the city. 

School-Live! is an anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series, created by Norimitsu Kaihou of Nitroplus with illustrations by Sadoru Chiba, which is being serialized on Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Forward. The manga has been publishing since July 2012 and currently has five (5) volumes.

The anime adaptation has been directed by Masaomi Ando, who also directed the anime adaptation of White Album 2, while Kaihou handled the scripts. Haruko Iizuka, who worked on several popular anime titles, adapted Chiba’s character designs, which was produced by anime studio Lerche.

The voice cast are lead by Inori Minase (Hestia, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) as Yuki Takeya, Ari Ozawa (Chiyo Sakura, Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun) as Kurumi Ebisuzawa, M.A.O (Mikoto Sakuragawa, Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!) as Yuuri Wakasa, and Rie Takahashi (Ayana Aizawa, Captain Earth) as Miki Naoki.

School-Live! premieres on July 16, airing within seven (7) after Japan’s broadcast every Thursday nights at 11:00pm SGT (10:00pm JKT/BKK).

 

The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

There are many idols with long-established talent agency 346 Production. And now the company is starting a new program, the Cinderella Project!

Girls leading normal lives…They are chosen to be aspiring idols and see another world for the first time in this Cinderella story. Can they all climb the stairs that lead to the palace?

The magic begins now…

The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls is the anime adaptation of the Japanese simulation video game. developed by Cygames and Bandai Namco, and the second anime adaptation of the popular IM@S franchise.

The anime series is being directed by Noriko Takao, who worked on the previous IM@Sanime series as well as other popular titles like the Haruhi Suzumiya and K-ON! anime series, while it’s series composition being handled by Noriko Takao and Tatsuya Takahashi.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Ayaka Ohashi (Fleur Blanc, Eureka Seven Ao) as Uzuki Shimamura, Ayaka Fukuhara (Lugh, Trinity Seven) as Rin Shibuya, Sayuri Hara (Makie Osakabe, Arpeggio of Blue Steel) as Mio Honda, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as the Producer.

This will be the continuation of the first season, which was also aired on the anime channel last January.

The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls – Season 2 is set to premiere on July 25, airing within one week of Japan’s telecast every Saturday nights at 11:00pm SGT (10:00pm JKT/BKK).

 

Other highlights for the month of July are the continuation of simulcast titles from the previous months.

New episodes of the sci-fi drama anime Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine airs within seven (7) days of Japan’s telecast every Thursday nights at 11:00pm SGT (10:00pm JKT/BKK).

New episodes of the male idol anime Uta no Prince-sama – Maji Love Revolutions airs within 10 days of Japan’s telecast every Tuesday nights at 10:00pm SGT (09:00pm JKT/BKK).

New episodes of Wish Upon the Pleiades airs every Wednesday nights at 10:00pm SGT (09:00pm JKT/BKK).
