North American anime company Aniplex of America has announced during their live show on Wednesday that they together with film distributor Eleven Arts will screen the sci-fi movie Expelled from Paradise in selected theaters in the United States this December.
The 3D CGI animated movie will be screened in Original Japanese Audio with English subtitles.
The tickets will be on sale starting Thursday through Aniplex USA’s website, and moviegoers will get the chance to receive an exclusive theatrical poster featuring the movie’s keyart, while supplies last.
Expelled from Paradise, also known as Rakuen Tsuihou, is a Japanese sci-fi animation film produced by anime studios Toei Animation and Nitroplus, with animation provided by Graphinica. The film was released in Japanese theaters last Saturday, November 15.
The anime film has been directed by Seiji Mizushima, who also directed Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series, and screenplay made by Gen Urobuchi, who created Fate/Zero and Aldnoah.Zero.
The casts are lead by Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist series) as Angela Balzac, Shinichiro Miki (Roy Mustang, Fullmetal Alchemist series) as Zarik “Dingo” Kajiwara, and Hiroshi Kamiya (Tieria Erde, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series) as Frontier Setter.
