I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too (異世界でチート能力を手にした俺は、現実世界をも無双する) is an upcoming anime series based on the light novel series by Miku.

The isekai fantasy series initially started as a self-published web novel on the website Kakuyomu in March 2017, which was eventually picked-up by Japanese publisher Fujimi Shobo in December 2018, under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, with Rein Kuwashima as its illustrator. The light novel currently has 13 volumes.

The series has been adapted into manga by KADOKAWA’s ASCII Media Works the following year, which is being published on Dengeki PlayStation Comic Web digital magazine. The manga series currently has four volumes published.

Yen Press, which distributes the light novel series in English, describe the series:

A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown. On the other side, he finds a hoard of priceless artifacts and a world as filled with magic as it is with monsters. The most shocking revelation, however, is that he can bring whatever he wants back with him when he returns to Earth. It won’t be long before this double life changes him forever…

Shin Itagaki, who directed the Cop Craft anime series will be the chief director of the upcoming anime series, as well as handling its series composition. So I’m a Spider, So What? anime’s episode director Shingo Tanabe will also be directing in the upcoming series.

Hiromi Kimura, who also worked on the Cop Craft anime series, will adapt Kuwashima’s original character designs, which will be animated by Millepensee.

The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Futaro Uesugi, The Quintessential Quintuplets anime) as “Yuuya Tenjou”, Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime) as “Kaori Houjou” and Kaori Maeda (“Sabine”, Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement anime) as “Lexia von Arcelia”.
