Singapore-based anime licensor MUSE Asia has announced on Thursday that they have acquired the upcoming isekai comedy anime Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear.
The company also revealed that they will have a special advanced airing of the first episode on September 20 at 12:00am PHT, which is in line with its early episode streaming in Japan, ahead of its television premiere more than two weeks later.
Full details regarding its streaming details, including its regional availability, would be announced at a later date.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese comedy light novel series, written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029.
The light novel initially started as a self-published web novel in October 2014, which has since been picked-up by Japanese publisher Shufu to Seikatsu Sha in May 2015, under its PASH! Books imprint, and currently has 15 volumes.
The light novel has inspired a manga adaptation in March 2018, also published by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha under its Comic PASH! online comic magazine, which currently has four volumes.
North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes the English-translated version of the light novel and manga, describes the series:
Fifteen-year-old Yuna prefers staying home and obsessively playing her favorite VRMMO to doing anything else, including going to school. When a strange new update gives her a one-of-a-kind bear outfit that comes with overpowered abilities, Yuna is torn: the outfit is unbearably cute, but too embarrassing to wear in-game. But then she suddenly finds herself transported to a world like the game, facing down monsters and magic for real, and the bear suit becomes the best weapon she has!
The upcoming anime adaptation will be directed by Yuu Nobuta, who previously worked in A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd romance anime, with Hisashi Iishi as the series director.
Takashi Aoshima, who worked on the slice-of-life comedy anime Mitsudomoe, will handle the series composition, while A Destructive God Sits Next to Me character designer Yuki Nakano will adapt 029’s original character designs, which will be produced by EMT Squared.
Maki Kawase, who played “Kiriko Yoshitoku” in the sports anime Kandagawa Jet Girls, will play the anime’s lead character “Yuna”, and she will be joined by Azumi Waki (“Special Week”, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby) as “Fina” and Rina Hidaka (“Filo”, The Rising of The Shield Hero) as “Noire Foschurose”.
MUSE Asia previously announced that they have acquired upcoming Autumn 2020 anime titles A3! Season Autumn & Winter and Moriarty the Patriot.
More anime titles, as well as its streaming availability, may be announced in the coming days.
