Singapore-based anime licensor MUSE Asia has announced on Monday that they are adding the supernatural anime SERVAMP to their streaming lineup.
The first episode will premiere on Tuesday, September 8, at 08:00pm PHT. Subsequent episodes will be made available on their YouTube channel daily, until September 19.
Mahiru Shirota dislikes difficult things, preferring to live a simple life. But after rescuing a cat he names Kuro, life takes a turn for the complex. SERVAMP is an anime adaptation of a supernatural manga series by Strike Tanaka, which is being published in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine since April 2011, and currently has 14 volumes.
The anime series is directed by Hideaki Nakano, who previously worked on Aoharu x Machinegun anime series, with Itto Sara serving as its chief director.
Ace of Diamond scriptwriter Kenji Konuta handled the anime’s series composition, while Junko Yamanaka, who also worked in the Detective Conan franchise, worked on character designs, which was produced by anime studio Brains’s Base.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Takuma Terashima (“Saburou Togusa”, Durarara!! series) as “Mahiru Shirota” and Yuuki Kaji (“Konekomaru Miwa”, Blue Exorcist series) as “Kuro”.
Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia previously aired the SERVAMP anime series in June 2017.
Singapore-based anime licensor ODEX also released its anime film adaptation, Servamp: Alice in the Garden, in Philippine cinemas on July 2018.
