Mysteria Academy is a prestigious magic school that teaches magic without discrimination to students of the three factions (men, gods and demons), who are usually engaged in battle with each other. Two of the academy’s students are Anne, a princess and honor student, and Grea, a princess born from a dragon and a human. (Synopsis from Sentai Filmworks)

Mysteria Friends is an original story based on an event in the popular mobile game Rage of Bahamut, but completely unrelated to its anime adaptations. The anime was first aired in Japanese television from January to March 2019, with a total of 10 episodes.

The anime series was directed by Hideki Okamoto, who previously directed the 2011 adventure comedy anime Battle Girls – Time Paradox, while Danganronpa The Animation scriptwriter Satoko Sekine handled the series composition, and Shakugan no Shana director Takashi Watanabe handled the music.

Minami Yoshida, who worked as the Chief Animation Director in several episodes of Terraformars Revenge, handled character designs, which was produced by CygamesPictures.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Yoko Hikasa (“Mio Akiyama”, K-ON!) as “Anne” and Ayaka Fukuhara (“Rin Shibuya”, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) as “Grea”.
