Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced on Monday that the romantic comedy anime series Tada Never Falls in Love will air on the channel this April.
The anime series is scheduled to premiere on April 6, airing every Monday and Tuesday nights at 08:00pm PHT, two episodes back-to-back. Next day encore telecast at 04:00pm PHT.
Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never fallen in love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms one day when he encounters a lost transfer student Teresa Wagner. Everything Mitsuyoshi knows about love completely changes as he takes her into his grandfather’s coffee shop and helps her reunite with her travel companion. (Synopsis from Sentai Filmworks)
Tada Never Falls in Love is a Japanese romantic comedy anime series produced by Doga Kobo, which was aired on Japanese television in April to September 2018.
Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun director Mitsue Yamazaki, scriptwriter Yoshiko Nakamura and character designer Junichiro Taniguchi reunited to work on the original anime.
Yuichi Nakamura, who portrayed “Tomoya Okazaki” in the popular drama anime series Clannad, voiced the titular lead character “Mitsuyoshi Tada”, while Manaka Iwami, who played “Hotaru Hoshikawa” in the second season of New Game!, voiced the lead female character “Teresa Wagner”.
Masayoshi Oishi, who previously performed theme songs for Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun and Ace of Diamond, performed the opening theme song “Otomodachi Film”, while Manaka Iwami, as her character, performed the ending theme “Love Song”.
