Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has revealed on their website on Wednesday that Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and In/Spectre will be their simulcast titles this Winter 2020.
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is scheduled to premiere on January 10, airing every Fridays at 08:30pm PHT, within 24 hours after its initial Japanese telecast.
In/Spectre is scheduled to premiere on January 12, airing every Sundays at 09:00pm, within 24 hours after its initial Japanese telecast.

Hanako, the ghost that haunts a school’s bathroom, is commonly grouped in any given school’s “Seven Wonders.” At Kamome Academy, Hanako-san is said to haunt the third toilet on the third floor girls’ bathroom in the abandoned school building and will grant a visitor any wish. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series by Iro Aida, which has been publishing in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine since 2014 and currently has 11 volumes.
The upcoming anime series will be directed by Masaomi Ando, who previously worked in Astra Lost in Space and Scum’s Wish anime series, while IRODUKU: The World in Colors scriptwriter Yasuhiro Nakanishi will handle the series composition.
Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle’s chief animation director Mayuka Itou will handle character designs, which will be produced by Lerche.
The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Akari Kito (“Suzune Horikita”, Classroom of the Elite) as “Nene Yashiro”, Megumi Ogata (“Shinji Ikari”, Neon Genesis Evangelion) as “Hanako-kun” and Shoya Chiba (“Kiyotaka Ayanokoji”, Classroom of the Elite) as “Kou Minamoto”.

In/Spectre is an upcoming anime adaptation of a Japanese novel, written by by Kyo Shirodaira, which is being published by Kodansha since 2011.
Aside from the anime series, the novel has also inspired a manga series, which started in 2015 and currently has five volumes.
The upcoming anime series will be directed by Kenji Gotoh, who previously directed Kiddy Grade and Endride anime series, while Golden Kamuy scriptwriter Noboru Takagi handled the series composition.
Takatoshi Honda, who previously worked in Anonymous Noise, will handle character designs, which will be produced by Brain’s Base.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Akari Kito (“Suzune Horikita”, Classroom of the Elite) as as “Kotoko Iwanaga” and Mamoru Miyano (“Osamu Dazai”, Bungo Stray Dogs) as “Kuro Sakuragawa”.
The simulcast airing of The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, which started in the Autumn 2019, will continue airing this season.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods airs every Wednesdays at 10:30pm PHT, within five hours after its initial Japanese telecast.
