ANIMAX Asia to air “The Demon Girl Next Door” comedy anime on November 5

Southeast Asian anime channel previously announced its airing last month.

As previously reported, Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced that they will air the supernatural comedy anime The Demon Girl Next Door this November.

The anime channel has revealed in a television advertisement on Tuesday that the new show will make its premiere on November 5, airing every Monday and Tuesdays at 08:00pm PHT, two-episodes back-to-back. Late night encore telecast at 11:00pm PHT.

The anime channel has also uploaded its television advertisement on their Facebook page.

Yuko Yoshida is just an ordinary schoolgirl — until one day the demon Lilith unleashes her dormant, devilish powers! The Demon Girl Next Door is an anime adaptation of a four-panel slice-of-life comedy manga series by Izumi Ito, which is being published in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Karat magazine since 2014 and currently has five volumes.

 

The anime series is directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, who previously worked in Cromartie High School and GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class, while Skip Beat scriptwriter Keiichiro Ochi handled the series composition.

Mai Otsuka, who previously worked in Shakugan no Shana and Non Non Biyori, handled character designs, which was produced by J.C. Staff. The anime series ran on Japanese television during the Summer 2019 season.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Konomi Kohara (“Akane Tachibana”, Classroom of the Elite) as “Yuko Yoshida” and Akari Kito (“Siluca Meletes”, Record of Grandcrest War) as “Momo Chiyoda”.
