Death March To The Parallel World Rhapsody is an anime adaptation of a fantasy romance novel series by Hiro Ainana, originally self-published in March 2013, then adapted in Kadokawa’s Fujimi Shobo a year later and currently has 17 volumes.

The anime adaptation was directed by Shin Oonuma, who also worked in the comedy anime Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts.

Armed Girl’s Machiavellism scriptwriter Kento Shimoyama and animation director Shoko Takimoto reunited to work on the series composition and character designs respectively, which was produced by SILVER LINK and Connect.

Shun Horie, who voiced “Pierre” in the idol franchise The Idolm@ster SideM, portrayed the lead character “Ichirou Suzuki” / “Satou Pendragon”.

Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody was one of the four anime titles lined-up to premiere on ANIMAX Asia this year.

The anime channel previously aired Lupin the Third Part 5 in February, Yo-kai Watch Shadowside premiered in June, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind this month.

ANIMAX Asia is available on SKYcable, Cignal TV, SatLite and GSAT, as well as several provincial cable providers nationwide. Check your local listings.
