Crayon Shin-chan: Dangerous Honeymoon – The Lost Daddy is the 27th animated film adaptation of the popular Crayon Shin-chan comedy series.

Masakazu Hashimoto returned to direct the latest film, while the team of Kimiko Ueno and Munenori Mizuno will handle the screenplay, which was produced by Shin-Ei Animation and distributed by TOHO.

Yumiko Kobayashi, who played the role of “Asuma Kazuma” in Yakitate!! Japan, will play the role of “Shinnosuke Nohara”. This will be Kobayashi’s first anime film since she took over the role of the main character in the television series, after long-time voice actor Akiko Yajima departed from the role in July last year.

The anime film has sold 242,000 tickets and earned about JP¥289 million (about PHP137.3 million), and ranked at Number 3 in the Japanese box office during its opening weekend last April 19.
