Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has confirmed to Anime Pilipinas their Second simulcast anime for the Spring 2019 season is the upcoming comedy anime The Helpful Fox Senko-san.
The upcoming anime will premiere on April 11, airing every Thursday nights at 08:30pm (07:30pm JKT/BKK), within 24 hours after its initial Japanese telecast.
The Helpful Fox Senko-san will be in addition to the previously announced simulcast airing of the Second Season of One Punch Man, which will premiere on April 10.
The simulcast airing of Fairy Tail: Final Series continues into the Spring season, which airs every Sunday nights.
Nakano is an employee of an exploitative “black” company, who meets a divine fox spirit named Senko. While she looks like a young girl, Senko is in fact 800 years old. She offers to spoil Nakano as much as possible, and begins looking after him. (Synopsis from Anime News Network)
The Helpful Fox Senko-san is an upcoming anime adaptation of a comedy manga series by Rimukoro, which is being published in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype magazine since October 2017, which currently has three volumes released.
The anime adaptation will be directed by Tomoaki Koshida, who previously worked on anime shows like Place to Place and the third season of Working!!!, while Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun scriptwriter Yoshiko Nakamura will handle the series composition.
Miwa Oshima, who previously worked in Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts and Gugure! Kokkuri-san, will handle the character designs, which will be produced by anime studio Doga Kobo.
The Japanese voice cast will be lead by Junichi Suwano (“Shota Aizawa”, My Hero Academia) as “Nakano” and Azumi Waki (“Maika Sakuranomiya”, Blend S) as “Senko”.
