Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has uploaded the television advertisement for the HoneyWorks anime special Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart.

As previously reported, the six-episode special is set to premiere on March 7, airing back-to-back episodes every Wednesday and Thursday nights at 08:00pm (07:00pm JKT/BKK), with an encore telecast at 11:00pm (10:00pm JKT/BKK).

Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart. is a six-episode television anime special based on Vocaloid songs from Kokuhaku Jikko Iinkai ~Renai Series~ by the musical group HoneyWorks.

The project first started as a music video uploaded on the video-sharing service Niconico in 2011, but has since expanded to light novels, manga and two anime films.

 

The first anime film, Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita (I’ve Always Liked You), was released in Japanese cinemas on April 2016, while the second film, Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o (The Moment You Fall in Love), was released in December of the same year.

Singapore-based anime licensor ODEX released the second film in the Philippines and several Southeast Asian countries in 2017.

 

The television special was directed by Takuro Tsukada, who previously worked on the special Fate/Grand Order: First Order with Hitoshi Nanba, who also served as the special’s chief director.

Yoshimi Narita, who is the scriptwriter for the previous HoneyWorks anime films, returned to handle the anime special’s series composition, while character designs were handled by Kentaro Tokiwa and Maki Fujii, which was produced by anime studio Lay-duce.

Kenichi Suzumura (as Haruki Serizawa) and Aki Toyosaki (as Mio Aida), who previously worked on the first anime film, returned to be lead characters of the anime special.
