The Infantree, Inc. has announced to select audience, including Anime Pilipinas, that they will soon collaborate with convenience store 7-Eleven Philippines to hold a promotion featuring Pokémon.
The company has yet to disclose the full details to the public, but they are saying that the convenience store will be releasing licensed “premium items” direct from Japan, and the items would be available through 7-Eleven nationwide.
The items will feature 10 random Pokémon collectibles, four of which would feature rare Pokémon characters.
Full details on the collaboration would be announced in the coming days.
The company also revealed that there are ongoing discussions for other collaborations and activities in the country, featuring the popular media franchise, for the rest of the year and in 2019.
But at the moment, the company’s upcoming plans are currently under wraps.
In the meantime, everyone are advised to Like the Official Facebook page of Pokémon in the Philippines at facebook.com/Pokemon.Official.Philippines for the latest updates.
The Infantree, Inc. is the master licensee holder of the Pokémon franchise in the Philippines, who took over the licensing operations earlier this year.
The licensor’s sister company, Reality Entertainment, will be releasing the popular franchise’s 21st animated film, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us in local cinemas nationwide on December 5.
