Southeast Asian anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced on Sunday that the slice-of-life comedy anime Blend S is set to premiere on the channel next month.
The anime will air back-to-back episodes Every Wednesday and Thursday nights at 08:00pm (07:00pm JKT/BKK), beginning August 2.

Blend S is an anime adaptation of a Japanese manga series by Miyuki Nakayama, which is being published in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine since October 2013. The manga currently has four (4) volumes.
The anime adaptation was directed by Ryouji Masuyama, who previously worked on Gurren Lagann and The iDOLM@STER, while And you thought there is never a girl online? scriptwriter Go Zappa handled series composition.
Yousuke Okuda, who previously worked on Is the order a rabbit?, adapted Nakayama’s original character designs, which was produced by A-1 Pictures.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Azumi Waki (“Mai Yanase”, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko) as “Maika Sakuranomiya”, Akari Kito (“Yonaga Hinagiri”, Alice & Zoroku) as “Kaho Hinata”, Anzu Haruno (“Moka Goto”, Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun) as “Mafuyu Hoshikawa”, and Tomoaki Maeno (“Juichi Fukutomi”, Yowamushi Pedal) as “Dino”.
