Event organizer Cosplay.ph has announced on Sunday that Japanese stage actors Hiroki Ino and Kosuke Asuma are set to attend as special guest on their upcoming event Cosplay Mania this year.
They are the first announced Japanese special guests for this year, and it is expected that there will be stage activities & meet-and-greet, which would be announced soon.
Ino and Asuma have performed in the “Hyper-Projection Stage Play” adaptation of the popular sports series Haikyuu!! in 2015 as “Koshi Sugawara” and “Toru Oikawa” respectively.
Aside from Haikyuu!!, Hiroki Ino also portrayed “Hiroshi Miyanomori” in the Hanayaka Nari Waga Ichizoku stage play in 2013 and “Byakuya Kuchiki” in Rock Musical Bleach “Another Above Ground” in 2016.
He recently have acting roles on television, which includes “Takuya” of the live-action adaptation of the popular manga Scum’s Wish last year.
Kosuke Asuma’s role in the Haikyuu!! stage play was his debut, and he has since portrayed other stage play acts including “Otojirou Kawakami” in Kageki Meikoi and “Gin Ichimaru” in Rock Musical Bleach in 2016.
The organizers previously announced their special guest cosplayers last March, which are Emperor and Astarohime from Russia, Hakken from Malaysia, and Ola Aphrodite from Indonesia.
More special guests for their annual flagship event are expected to be announced in the coming days.
