ANIPLUS Asia reveals Steins;Gate 0 simulcast schedule

Upcoming anime to premiere on April 12, within two hours after the Japanese broadcast.

As previously reported, Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has announced in a television advertisement on Tuesday that Steins;Gate 0 will be a part of the channel’s Spring 2018 simulcast line-up.

The channel revealed on Saturday that the upcoming anime will premiere on April 12, airing Every Thursdays at 02:30am (01:30pm JKT/BKK), within two hours after the initial Japanese broadcast.

Okabe struggles to recover from a failed attempt at rescuing Kurisu. He decides to abandon his lively scientist alter ego to forget the past. He is pulled back into the past by meeting an acquaintance of Kurisu, who is testing a device that stores the memory of a human & creates a simulation of them with their characteristics and personalities. Okabe begins testing and finds out that the simulation of Kurisu has brought back anguish and some new unexpected tragedies.

Steins;Gate 0 is an upcoming anime series based on the popular visual novel game by video game developers 5pb.and Nitroplus, which was initially released on the PlayStation platform in December 2015 in Japan. The upcoming series will be the sequel to the popular sci-fi thriller anime Steins;Gate, which was first ran in 2011.

Kenichi Kawamura, who worked on several anime shows including Black Lagoon and Devil May Cry, will serve as the director the anime, while Jukki Hanada returns to handle series composition.

Tomoshige Inayoshi, who worked in Buddy Complex, will take over character designs from Kyuta Sakai, which will be produced by WHITE FOX.

Kanako Ito, who sung the first season’s opening theme song, returned to perform the upcoming anime’s opening theme “Fatima”.

The cast from previous adaptations reprise their respective role on the upcoming series, including Mamoru Miyano as “Rintaro Okabe”, Kana Hanazawa as “Mayuri Shiina”, and Asami Imai as “Kurisu Makise”.
