Local events organizer Cosplay.ph has announced on Thursday that the popular Japanese anisong artist ELISA will return to the Philippines to perform at Cosplay Mania 2017.
She will join previously announced musical guests Konomi Suzuki, Shiena Nishizawa, and kradness.
Schedule of her musical performance would be announced in the coming days.
ELISA is a Japanese singer and fashion model from Kanagawa Prefecture, currently signed to Sacra Music, which is the recently-launched music label of Sony Music Entertainment Japan.
She started her music career in 2007 with the debut single “Euphoric field”, which was used as the opening theme for the anime Ef – A Tale of Memories. She also performed themes from popular anime series To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, Valvrave the Liberator, The Irregular at Magic High School and anime movies Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth and Expelled from Paradise.
She had released seven (7) albums, including the latest album “Genetica”, which was released in November 2016.
ELISA also appeared in several events like Animelo Summer Live, Anime Festival Asia in Singapore and Sakura-Con in the United States.
Last year, She performed in the Philippines for the first time as one of the musical guests in ANIMAX Carnival Philippines 2016, together with May’n, Yanagi Nagi, and Ami Wajima.
Cosplay Mania ’17 will be held at the Function Rooms 2-5 of the SMX Convention Center – Manila at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
