Local television network TV5 has announced on Twitter on Tuesday the highly-popular TV5 AniMEGA block is set to return next year.
The anime block’s return is part of a larger announcement of the network’s 2017 lineup, which includes premiere of several American dramas, kids shows and Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender animation series.
Japanese anime shows Kantai Collection, Attack on Titan: Junior High, Myriad Colors Phantom World, Knights of Sidonia and Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000% has been included to the channel’s announcement.
A representative of TV5 has told Anime Pilipinas that apart from the announced titles on social media, other titles is also set to air on the anime block, this includes Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) and other titles that are still in the works.
The representative also told APN that the anime block will air on Weekday afternoons during the days where Philippine Basketball Association does not hold games.
The representative also says that they plan to bring back the anime block within January of next year, and all titles will be dubbed in Filipino.
