
Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia has added two more simulcast titles for this Fall 2016 anime season, which are Occultic;Nine and the second season of Bungo Stray Dogs.
The anime shows are in addition to the two previously announced titles Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru and Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE Legend Star.

Nine idiosyncratic individuals are linked by a occult summary blog run by 17-year-old second-year high school student Yuta Gamon. Little incongruities that occur around these nine eventually lead to a larger, unimaginable event that may alter what is considered common sense in this world.
Occultic;Nine is an anime adaptation of a sci-fi light novel series, written by Chiyomaru Shikura and illustrated by pako, which is being published by Overlap since August 2014 under its Overlap Bunko imprint. The novel currently have two volumes.
The anime adaptation is directed by Kyouhei Ishiguro, who also directed the popular drama anime Your Lie in April, while series composition are by the group MAGES, who also produced Shikura’s works like Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes. Tomoaki Takase, who worked on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, is handling character designs, which is being produced by A-1 Pictures.
The Japanese voice casts will be lead by Yuuki Kaji (“Eren Jaeger”, Attack on Titan) as “Yuta Gamon” and Ayane Sakura (“Cocoa Hoto”, Is the order a Rabbit?) as “Ryoka Narusawa”.
Occultic;Nine premieres on October 9, airing every Sunday at 12:00am SIN (Saturday 11:00pm JKT/BKK).

Kicked out of his orphanage and on the verge of starving to death, Nakajima Atsushi meets Dazai Osamu and Kunikida Doppo, members of the “Armed Detective Agency”, an agency that solves incidents that even the military and police won’t touch.
Bungo Stray Dogs is an anime adaptation of an action manga series, written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, which has been serialized by Kadokawa Shoten magazine Young Ace since 2012. The manga currently has 10 volumes.
The anime adaptation is directed by Takuya Igarashi, who also worked on the anime adaptations of Ojamajo Doremi, while Yoji Enokido, who worked on the screenplay of Captain Earth, handles the series composition. Nobuhiro Arai handles the character designs, which is being produced by the anime studio BONES.
The Japanese voice cast are lead by Yuuto Uemura (“Nanbaka”, Jugo) as “Atsushi Nakajima” and Mamoru Miyano (“Tusk”, Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon) as “Osamu Dazai”.
The first season of the series was aired in Japan last April, which was also aired on ANIPLUS Asia in a simulcast basis.
Bungo Stray Dogs 2 premieres on October 6, airing every Thursday morning at 01:50am SIN (12:50am BKK/JKT).
The slice-of-life anime Sweetness and Lightning is set to air its final episode, which is why ANIPLUS Asia will have an end-of-series marathon on Sunday, October 2, from 06:00pm SIN (05:00am JKT/BKK).
The channel is also set to have a catch-up marathon for the first season of Bungo Stray Dogs, airing on Thursday, October 6, from 06:00pm SIN (05:00pm JKT/BKK).
Lastly, the channel will be bringing back your favorite idols this October with “ANIPLUS Idol Weeknights”, featuring The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Wake Up, Girls! and Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolution.
The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls airs from October 7 to November 10 at 08:00pm SIN (07:00pm JKT/BKK).
Wake Up, Girls! airs from October 7 to 24 at 08:30pm SIN (07:30pm JKT/BKK).
Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolution airs from October 25 to November 10 at 08:30pm SIN (07:30pm JKT/BKK).
