San Francisco, CA (September 9, 2015) – Crunchyroll, Inc., the leading Anime and Asian Drama content streaming service announces the official launch of its service in Italy with Italian language support. This continues the global expansion for the company after its launch of supported services in Germany, France, Latin America, Brazil, and Iberia. Crunchyroll users will now be able to stream content in up to 7 subtitle languages across the globe.

Over 15 Anime simulcast titles will initially be available with Italian support within minutes of original TV broadcast in Japan. Summer 2015 simulcast titles include hits such as NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, GINTAMA, HIMOUTO! UMARU-CHAN, and MY LOVE STORY.

Crunchyroll premium members will enjoy immediate access to simulcast episodes, access to all available catalog episodes, and additional privileges such as 1080p HD video streaming and no ads for less than €5 per month. Viewers will be able to watch on a multitude of mobile console and connected devices (including Crunchyroll for iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle, Playstation®3, Playstation®4, Playstation®Vita, Xbox LIVE®, Wii U, AppleTV,  and Roku), in addition to streaming on www.crunchyroll.it The site will also offer the latest anime news, forums, and customer service in Italian similar to Crunchyroll’s English, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese services.
