Pan-regional anime channel ANIMAX Asia has announced that a brand new “simulcast” title will be airing this month, which will be the supernatural anime Charlotte.

The newest simulcast title follows the announcement during ANIMAX Carnival Philippines 2015 last May that the channel will premiere The irregular at magic high school and Wizard Barristers this month.

In an alternate world, supernatural abilities manifest in certain children once they hit puberty. Yuu is one such individual, but he is able to lead an average life by concealing his powers while attending Hoshinoumi Academy. However, after a chance meeting with the enigmatic student council president Nao Tomori, this delicate balance Yuu has established is in danger of crumbling when he discovers what fate has in store for special individuals like himself…

Charlotte is an upcoming Japanese anime series produced by anime studios P.A.Works and Aniplex, which is being directed by Yoshiyuki Asai, while the screenplay handled by Jun Maeda and character designs are handled by Na-Ga.

Maeda and Na-Ga are both from the popular visual novel studio Key, who also worked on popular titles like Clannad, Kanon and Air.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Ayane Sakura (Haru Onodera, Nisekoi) as Nao Tomori, and Kouki Uchiyama (Raku Ichijou, Nisekoi) as Yuu Otosaka.

Charlotte airs the Same-day as Japan on Sunday, July 05, at 12:30am SGT/MNL (Saturday, July 04, at 11:30pm JKT/BKK), with an encore telecast at 08:00pm SGT/MNL (07:00pm JKT/BKK).

In a world where magic exists, siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba enroll into a magic high school. However, due to their different grades, they are placed in contrasting warring factions of the academic spectrum and the once peaceful campus soon turns into a chaotic one!

The irregular at magic high school is an anime adaptation of a Japanese light novel series, which was written by Tsutomu Sato with illustrations by Kana Ishida. The novels are being serialized by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint since July 2011, and it currently has 11 volumes.

The anime adaptation was directed by Manabu Ono, who also directed the two seasons of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, while Sword Art Online scriptwriter Yukie Sugawara also handled the anime’s scripts.

The Japanese voice cast are lead by Saori Hayami (Yukino Yukinoshita, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU!) as Miyuki Shiba, and Yuichi Nakamura (Yuzan Yoshida, My Little Monster) as Tatsuya Shiba.

The irregular at magic high school premieres on Monday, July 06, airing two episodes back-to-back every Monday to Tuesday nights at 10:00pm SGT/MNL (09:00pm JKT/BKK).

The youngest ever wizard barrister, seventeen-year-old Cecil Sudo starts taking on cases at Butterfly Law Firm and defends the rights of wizards suffering from injustice in the Court of Magic. However, what she hasn’t realised is how much magical potential she actually possesses…

Wizard Barristers is a Japanese anime series produced by anime studio Arms, which was directed by Yasuomi Umetsu and scriptwriting by Michiko Itou.

The Japanese voice cast is lead by Rui Tanabe, who voiced as “Ai Nishimura” in the popular drama anime One Week Friends, as Cecil Sudo.

Wizard Barristers premieres on Tuesday, July 14, airing two-episodes back-to-back every Monday to Tuesday nights at 08:00pm SGT/MNL (07:00pm BKK/JKT)
