VIVA-PSICOM Publishing Corp. has announced on Facebook that it will formally launch its Filipino-translated manga releases during the Manga and Anime Festival to be held on Saturday, July 11, at Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
The local publisher also provided more details about the activities to be held during the event, including a cosplay competition, battle of the bands, and—quite bizzarely—a potato-eating contest, which possibly a reference to one of the characters of Attack on Titan.
The first two volumes of Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan translated in the vernacular, which are already available in all National Bookstore outlets since the beginning of June, were initially slated for launch on June 6 and 7 but was since postponed.
In a related story, VIVA-PSICOM says the Tagalog-translated Volume 3 of Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan will be released on June 27.
