LiSA first came to prominence through the hit anime TV series, Angel Beats! in 2010 where her vocal abilities shone through her role as the 2nd generation vocalist for the band within the series, “Girls Dead Monster.” Subsequent releases under the band’s name ranked high on the Oricon charts, steadily growing in popularity and fame.

The following year, LiSA made her debut as a solo artist with a mini-album in 2011 and enjoyed further success in chart performance. She’s had a string of major tie-ups with anime series, including the iconic “oath sign” for the series <Fate/Zero>, “crossing field” for the hugely popular <Sword Art Online>, “Rising Hope” for <The irregular at magic high school>, “Shirushi” and “No More Time Machine” for <Sword Art Online II>, strengthening her popularity in both the anime and pop rock world.

LiSA’s fanbase not only continues to grow exponentially within, but also outside of Japan, having performed in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mexico, Boston and Los Angeles, with fan bases in countries beyond as well. She made her mark in the industry with a solo concert at the legendary Budokan merely three years after her solo debut, and most recently returned to the Budokan stage in January 2015, instantly selling out 20,000 tickets over two days, solidifying her current popularity.

Her highly anticipated third studio album, “Launcher,” was released on March 4th, 2015, reaching No.3 on the Oricon album charts. Her latest single, “Rally Go Round” will be released in May 2015, and will be the new opening theme for <Nisekoi:>, once again bringing her to the forefront of anime and music fans alike.

Thanks to her infectious, energetic live performances, friendly, down-to-earth disposition, and cute sense of fashion, all eyes are glued to this charismatic artist!
