Pan-regional anime channel ANIPLUS HD has announced on their Facebook page that they will bring three (3) cosplayers to the highly-popular anime & pop-culture event Anime Festival Asia 2014.
This will be in addition to previous cosplayers who will be appearing on the event, such as Clive Lee, Ying Tze, BaoZi and Hana, as well as Aza Miyuko and KANAME☆.
The three cosplayers are Judy, H, and Akatsuki Tsukasa, from Taiwan.
Judy
Judy is a known cosplayer in Taiwan & throughout the region, who is also a skilled dressmaker and photographer in the industry. She had gained popularity in her cute looks and humble nature, but at the same time, portraying characters such as Super Sonico, Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier, and more recently, Rize Kamishiro of Tokyo Ghoul.
This will be her second appearance at the highly-popular event, where she first appeared in 2012.
H
H is a charismatic cosplayer from Taiwan, who is mostly popular in cosplaying male characters such as Yuma Mukami of Diabolik Lovers, Azusa Asahina of Brothers Conflict, and from more recent titles like Rin Matsuoka of Free! Iwatobi Swim Club and Aoba Segaraki of DRAMAtical Murder.
But at the same time, she could also portray female characters, such as Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier, Tsubasa Kira (A-rise) of Love Live! School Idol Project, and Kamanosuke Yuri of BRAVE10.
She currently ranks #33 at the WorldCosplay.net rankings, and this will be her first appearance at Anime Festival Asia.
Akatsuki Tsukasa
Akatsuki Tsukasa is a highly-popular cosplayer from Taiwan, who is versatile in portaying male characters, such as Takuto Tsunashi of Star Driver, Shintaro Midorima of Kuroko’s Basketball and Shinya Kogami of Psycho-Pass, and female characters, such as C.C. of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Kagura of the movie Gintama: The Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya, and Eli Ayase of Love Live! School Idol Project.
She currently ranks #3 at WorldCosplay.net ranking. This will be her third appearance at Anime Festival Asia, as AFAID 2012 in Jakarta as her first, followed by AFA2012 in Singapore as her second.
Anime Festival Asia 2014 will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore from December 05-07, 2014, which is organized by Sozo Pte. Ltd., Zapp Live and Dentsu.
